AFABC Support Groups

Note: Support Groups do not meet during the months of July and August.

Some AFABC Support Groups focus on education and information, others on emotional connection and sharing. All offer an opportunity to share experiences, socialize, and form friendships. Each group forms, meets, and evolves according to the needs of the people in it.

Our Support Groups are offered as part of our Family-to-Family Support Services which are led by facilitators who, being adoptive parents, are trained Peer Support Volunteers. In some instances, our support groups are led by one of the Adoption Support Coordinators in your region.

For information on how to form a group and/or to become a Support Group Facilitator, please contact the Adoption Support Coordinator nearest you.

Wiggles and Giggles Playgroup
Location: 1420 Hugh Allen Drive
Dates: Saturday October 31st  9:00 -11:00am  (Halloween Fun)

Group Name: Adoption Boot Camp
Description: A fun program with a focus on contemporary adoption issues. Come share your experiences and ideas with other pre and post adoptive parents.
