AFABC Online Resource Centre

Please note, our bookstore is now closed. We are currently working on an new way to offer our members the best adoption books at great prices, more information to follow.

Welcome to the AFABC online resource centre for pre- and post-adoption information.

We hope you find our resource centre useful. It is intended to give families and professionals access to more in-depth information on adoption issues. As this is a new feature for www.bcadoption.com, we will constantly be adding to the information. If you have information you think needs to be included, we'd be happy to hear from you. Please email webmaster@bcadoption.com.

Here in the resource centre you will find...

Our Special Needs Database

Our special needs database is meant to be an educational tool. So often we talk or hear about children with special placement needs, but what does this really mean?

Our special needs database is designed to touch on some basic information concerning a variety of special needs so as to build the foundation of acceptance and understanding that children with special placement needs require.

This resource is by no means intended as a substitute for a doctor's advice or diagnosis. Any concerns you may have with regard to your child's health and development should be discussed with a professional in an appropriate field.
